In the United States, the sequence debuted on Nickelodeon on October 8, 2018; it later moved to TeenNick the place it was broadcast from October 15 to November 8, 2018. The collection stars Kimie Tsukakoshi, Elizabeth Cullen, Mia Milnes, Julian Cullen, Rainbow Wedell, Jamie Carter, and Christopher Sommers. The Bureau of Magical Things was renewed for a second season in November 2019.[1]
Premise
The human and magic worlds co-existed in harmony, however as era advanced, the magic global was once driven back, and fairies and other magical creatures become endangered species. Now, anyone needs to change that and repair magic to its rightful place. When Kyra uncovers a danger to each the human and magic worlds, she will have to try to unite humans, elves, and fairies with the intention to save them all. Kyra and Peter must remedy the thriller of who the enigmatic determine is and how they are going to achieve their function. The investigation leads them to uncover secrets and techniques in each the human and magic worlds that no one could have imagined.
Cast and characters
Main Kimie Tsukakoshi as Kyra, a teenage girl whose existence is modified after an come across with a magic e book, reworking her right into a tri-ling, part-human, part-fairy, and part-elf. While wary of her new cases, she is finding out to just accept her newfound reality. Elizabeth Cullen as Imogen, an elf training to become a member of the Department of Magical Intervention (DMI). He cares greatly for his students and wants them to achieve their full possible.Recurring Arnijka Larcombe-Weate as Mathilda, Kyra's highest buddy and fellow basketball player who does not know of Kyra's magical powers. Steve Nation as Steve, Kyra's stepfather and native police officer, who is also unaware of Kyra's powers. Melanie Zanetti as Orla, an elf who's one of the DMI's top agents and Imogen's idol who poses as a reporter. She is an old acquaintance of Maxwell's and apparently has her own agenda involving Kyra. Nicholas Bell as Sean, the Director of Magic, and Lily's father.Production
On July 17, 2017, it used to be introduced that a new youngsters's collection was once to film in Queensland from manufacturer Jonathan M. Shiff (H2O: Just Add Water, Mako: Island of Secrets, Thunderstone, Ocean Girl, Horace and Tina). Evan Clarry and Grant Brown serve as directors.[3] The sequence aired in Australia on Eleven.[4] On September 22, 2018, Nickelodeon bought the rights to the collection and introduced that the collection would premiere in the United States on October 8, 2018.[5]
On November 27, 2019, it was once announced that a 2d season of the series can be produced, with manufacturing to happen between December 2019 and July 2020 in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. The series forged, including Kimie Tsukakoshi, was once expected to go back.[1] However, manufacturing on the sequence was once shut down because of the COVID-19 pandemic.[6]
